Locacid is a unique product composed of carob seed, MOS (mannan oligosaccharide), Beta-glucan, inactive yeast cell wall, Cinnamon, Multienzyme complex and phenylformic acid (benzoic acid). Locacid has an inhibition effect against mold and fungi as well as bacteria such as Salmonella, E.coli.
Today, natural substances are preferred over antibiotics for optimum development of animals. Thousands of scientific studies and field trials in the literature have proven that organic acids, phytobiotics (plant parts and metabolites) and prebiotics can provide much more effective results then drugs.
Locacid,
- Has a wide spectrum of action; It eliminates bacteria, yeast, mold and fungal pathogens colonized in feed and in the digestive tract of the animal.
- The mannan structures in the locacid composition eliminates pathogens as inactive forms (thus no contamination). Thus, mannan structures show direct pathogenic inhibition effect.
- Locacid is a powerful immune system booster. In addition to their pathogenic inhibition effect, mannan and beta-glucans stimulate phagocytic activities and secrete antibodies against disease factors.
- It increases the numbers of beneficial bacteria such as Bifidobacteria and Lactobacilli and of digestive enzymes. It supports the infections treatment of nervous system.
- It binds to toxins in feed and digestive system. Thus serving as effective toxin binder.
- It increases the absorption by increasing the length and width of the villi structures in the intestinal epithelium. Increases feed utilization and body weight gain. It prevents the passage of pathogens by tightening the bonds between epithelial cells. It stimulates the protective mucin secretion.
