Proflora Plus,

• Role in microflora: It regulates the composition and activity of the microbiota in favor of the organism. It has a wide spectrum of action. Fatty acids, synthesised by probiotics of Proflora, stimulate the production of active substances with antimicrobial properties, resulting in a bacteriocid effect. It prevents the growth of pathogenic microorganisms such as E.coli, Salmonella spp., C. perfingens.

• Effects on the immune system: It stimulates the production of cytokines that play a major role in strengthening the natural and adaptive immune system, thus providing resistance against diseases. It protects cells against harmful free radicals by stimulating the activity of superoxide dismutase enzyme.

• Functions in metabolism: Proflora optimizes Protein, Carbohydrate and Fat / Energy metabolisms, It reduces nitrogen (uric acid/urea) formation and increasing N-bacteria which converts ammonia to nitrate, thus reduces the ammonia level. It reduces the cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the liver, blood and carcass by inhibiting the fatty acid synthetase enzyme. It provides metabolic energy by increasing the production of essential fatty acids.

• Role in enzymatic activities: Proflora regulates the production of enzymes in the liver and thus supports the enzymatic reactions and digestion process. It optimizes enzymatic activity, stimulates of secretion of digestive enzymes and inhibits enzymes that cause excess fat accumulation.

• Effect on the digestive system: Proflora increases the depth of the crypt and length and width of villus in the intestine, thus providing maximum absorption of nutrients. It facilitates digestion by stimulating the production of digestive enzymes. It enables the use of non-digestable nutrients. It increases the live weight gain by increasing the feed bioavailability and decreases the feed conversion ratio (FCR) .

• Various Metabolic functions: It takes part in the synthesis of B vitamins, facilitates the absorption of vitamins and minerals. It is effective in preventing musculoskeletal disorders by supporting the calcium metabolism.

• In practice, the dose of Proflora should be decreased with age of the animal. One dose for period of 21st day-slaughter / laying age and double dose for the period of 1-21st day. Since the peak development of digestive system of the poultry take place during the starter and grower period, an adequate dose to be administrated in this period is crucial. The amounts in the table are ideal for target use, but in unusually severe cases, it is suggested to increase the dose up to 4 times for 5-10 days depending on the animal’s situation.
• Proflora should not be applied together with antimicrobial agents such as antibiotics, anticoccidial, antibacterial, drugs, water disinfectants and preservatives, essential oils, herbal extracts and organic acids.

Warnings/Adverse effects: Consult a veterinarian in the case of using of higher doses.

Storage: Store in a dry and cold place.
